A Day in the Life of Céline

Hello there Everyone, it's Jess here, from White Stag Boulevard, and I am so thrilled to be posting today on Mindy Mae's! Over this last week, I have notice that I tend to accumulate a lot of different stuff in my purse... and let's just say that it is not all stuff that I need to carry around with me every where I go... So this weekend I decided to clean out my purse, and as I emptied the entire contents of my Céline, I realized that it was not just stuff I collected, but to me, it was really a bag of treasures and beauties!

To start, no girl is complete without her essential beauty items... For me, this means my Smashbox lip stick (fuchsia flash matte) and a coordinating lip gloss! Of course you can through my sunglasses and beautiful Mindy Mae's necklace in to the beauty category as well.

Now, as odd as it may be, I think my current "hoarding addiction" is all forms of stationary and paper items, weird right? I am absolutely in love with my steals from Target, (I found all of my items in the $1 bins!) This includes the matching pen as well.

Two of my favorite items I dug out of my purse were gifted to me from my amazing friend from Liberate Normal,  Stephanie Watts. My "People I Want to Punch in the Face" booklet, and my "Be Bold" statement photo. Both of these items just put a smile on my face! (Not that I really want to punch anyone... but as they say, it's the thought that counts...)

So this is a day in the life of my Céline... I enjoyed going through my bag, and realizing all of the simple pleasures that come from the littlest of things. It's really amazing what a little pink and gold will do for your attitude!

Happy Friday Everyone! It’s Jess again from White Stag Boulevard. Happy as every to be back and posting on Mindy Mae’s today, and sharing with you one of my favorite looks. Now, I have to start by saying that I am always a big fan of gold. It’s super trendy right now, and it looks much better with my skin tone than the traditional silver, however that being said, lately I am loving the mix! I have been pairing a all my gold and silver bracelets, and what could be more perfect than this amazing new necklace courtesy of Mindy Mae’s Market?! It has silver, gold and the little pearls add a hint more class. I paired it with a new black blouse with plenty of detail of its own. 

Fashion tip: It’s all about the details, I.E. zippers, buttons, straps, the works!

Liz here, so excited to be back! I chose a more dressed up look for this post. Although the sequined skirt is, well, sequined, it's not too sparkly so the jewels would stand out and shine on their own. With Valentines Day quickly approaching, I think this would be the perfect outfit with the perfect accessories!

Cropped in Winter

The winter months do not seem to be rounding down anytime soon so why not embrace this season of fashion while we can?  This winter I have I been crazy over tweed and I cannot get enough of this Ampersand Avenue jacket courtesy of Minday Mae's Market.  How amazing is it?  The great part about a good cropped tweed is you can dress it up for work or church but also pair it with a pair of denim and heels for more of a day-to-day look.  Match it with one of their stunning crystal drop necklaces and you are bound to stand out in a crowd.

Today we are going to talk armparty or armcandy,  whichever you choose to call it! For me, it's not just throwing random bracelets together. A Darling Dream

Hello everyone I am Leslie from elleteethatsme! 

One of my favorite things about dressing up is the versatility that can come with an outfit by simply giving or taking away an item! During the day I would usually wear this cozy oversized sweater with leggings and comfy boots, but for a quick evening turn up I traded leggings for jeggings, boots for heels and added this beautiful necklace from Mindy Mae's to finish it all off! Perfect for an evening out with friends or for dinner while still not looking too overdone. I love winter and the colors that come with it, but for added flair I paired a pop of color to my nails and lips. This icy necklace perfectly compliments the weather we've been having in Oklahoma!

Love the look and feel of a maxi dress on a warm summer day. A black maxi is an essential in my wardrobe. I feel like this is one I will be able to pair with a cute jacket and wear through the fall.

The compartments are velcro, which makes it great for if you need to remove just a part of it.

changes.

we've been in puberty.

that awkward phase where you aren't quite little anymore, but you're not big either...

we have pimples, weird things happening, we're emotional, it's a mess.

but we've figured it out.

and we couldn't be more excited to share our experience with you!

when we first started, this was a whole different ball of wax.

something didn't feel right. so, changes were made.

changes worked.  we were growing!

in March of 2012, we started selling on deal sites. 

that's where we realized, things were going to change, again.

in September of 2012 we hit 4,000 followers.

we were stoked {like being asked to our first dance stoked}

after finding the deal sites, we started following the crowd.

luckily, it's worked out. but we never felt like ourselves.

we were self conscience, awkward, and felt like a duplicate of others.

{like, we weren't different or special enough to catch ourselves a man}

we wanted more, but were too scared.

but we're ready to break away from that crowd and be ourselves!

this is Courtney's baby.  she had dreams about it. drew it up. had it made.

when it came, she hugged it. {awkward}

she loves black and white, she loves stripes, and duh, a bow. and the pockets, oh the pockets!

we launched it to you guys... you went wild.

that is where we realized we should have been ourselves from the beginning.

it wasn't scary at all, it was amazing.

needless to say, you'll be seeing more Designs from MMM for MMM.

we hope to turn our shop into the ONE place you can receive items designed by our staff.

with these changes still comes some level of scariness.

what if someone makes a knock-off, or a duplicate, or something wildly similar?
